Sounds fuel or compression related, I would:
-Check your plug.
-Check you vacuum line going to your petcock.
-Check/clean the carb.
-Check for leaks around the head gasket that you can hear or feel (remember, you may not be able to sense them until after warmed up).
-Check compression.
Not neccesarrily in that order, do the easiest stuff first.
